Russia’s used car market rises 5.4% to 492,400 cars in July

MOSCOW, Aug 12 (PRIME) -- Russia’s second hand car market expanded by 5.4% on the year to 492,400 cars in July, research agency Autostat said in a statement on Monday.

The top three car brands were Lada, whose sales rose 3.2% on the year to 122,400 cars, Toyota with sales growing by 4.2% to 54,700 cars; and Nissan with sales increasing 6.2% to 27,600 cars.

In January–July, the used car market fell by 0.4% on the year to 3 million vehicles.
